Welcome Message

Welcome to this fist-of-its-kind PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT AVENUE (PDA) 2006 by Art Dynamics Cebu (ADC), a speech and talent enhancement firm established in early 2006. Whether or not it’s on-stage-on-cam exposure, we assert to create a better personality in you and let you get out of your nail-biting situation through workshops. We want to share the gift of communication and talent among kids, teens, adolescents and everyone else.

In our weekend workshops (in speech, voice, dance and modeling) since April 2006, we’ve witnessed how our enrollees have evolved from being introvert-shy-tense-inferior to becoming sociable-confident-composed-enhanced. From learning to smile and mingle—to speaking with emotions—to becoming less afraid to approach the microphone for speech delivery and earning friends, everything has been proven worth-the-take. Not one but many kids approached me saying, “I am not shy anymore, Miss D!” after a series of sessions. Good Lord, that’s heart-melting, rewarding and inspiring! Eventually out of inspiration, this visionary woman thought of PDA 2006 where kids and young people “dare to dream, grow and shine”!

I suppose parents recognize that every kid or young individual has so much promise… so many potentials that should be unfolded. I always believe exposure, exposure and exposure is the best teacher. And with PDA 2006, we are confident about producing more confident performers and better-speaking individuals who may even make it as superstars and model pros in the future. Who knows? PDA shouldn’t be taken as a mere catwalk or talent showdown. We don’t’ seek for really skinny, pretty and tall ones here. As long as you’re enthusiastic to develop your totality as a person or you posses the “it” in you, count yourself in. We give you this privilege to grasp larger opportunities. You are a gifted being. Celebrate it and share it with us! Several privileges await you: radio-TV-newspaper exposures, studio and resort pictorials, fashion shows, hosting, speech choir, song and dance showcase, and commercial modeling stints, etc. For sure, you’ll create a BETTER-YOU! This is all about developing your strengths and potentials while fine-tuning your weaknesses. You can expect hands-on experiences, yes.

What’s more exciting is that the PDA Grand Night on January 14, 2007 will have the two batches of participants combine and showcase all their talents together in a single production featuring a fashion show, acting scenes from “Home Alone” and “Seventh Heaven”, musical excerpts from “Sound of Music” and “High School Musical”, Nursing Idol’s special participation, dance and PDA Jingle.

As Managing Director of ADC, I am encouraging talented individuals who can’t seem to eliminate shyness and stage fright to join the PDA program. We allow you to be motivated, inspired, educated, trained and exposed. A series of activities are expected to uncover and strengthen your assets towards reaching for the stars.

PDA 2006 is not a competition but an avenue for talent development; it is a confidence-builder. We want this to be your training ground where you advance your craftsmanship in the arts, fashion, music, public speaking or any field you are passionate about. You don’t want to miss this chance of getting scouted for a future gig, do you? We look forward to sharing with you an enhancing, rewarding and meaningful quest. We also aim to unite you with experts and talent scouts who may matter to you either now or in the future.

To everyone concerned, please take note that PDA rules may be changed to benefit everybody. Please ask our team if any changes have been made. Thanks for believing in us. More power to us all!

Sincerely,

RUDYNAH D. ENTERA

Managing Director, Art Dynamics Cebu

Executive Producer, Personality Development Avenue (PDA) 2006

PDA 2006: History, Mission and Vision

Personality Development Avenue or PDA is an intense program for kids and youngsters aimed at eliminating shyness and inferior vibes so that a better personality in YOU is attained. Every undertaker should be saying “Goodbye to stage fright, butterflies in the stomach and inferiority complex!” after completing this program.

Art Dynamics Cebu (ADC) has seen how its weekend workshops have apparently given a good effect on its students. This fact has given inspiration to ADC to create the PDA concept in order to expand its coverage and add more effective opportunities for the participants.

PDA’s mission is to develop a better personality in every learner. A personality that is fearless, gutsy, humble, gracious, charming and determined to survive any challenge. It envisions of producing better speakers and more confident stage performers while reaching out to the community through fashion and variety shows for a cause. This program desires to influence kids and youngsters the value of humility and gratitude. This is surely an avenue where individuals dare to dream, grow and shine.

Registration Dates and Mechanics

Registration for PDA 2006 is slated on October 7, 2006 at 12:00 noon to 3:00 p.m. at SM City Cebu Hall D, 3rd level (near the TRADE HALL). Registrants will still be accepted on Oct. 14, 15, 21 and 22 at 12:00-2:00 p.m. in the same venue. At most 30 registrants will be accepted for 1st batch—15 kids and 15 teens & above, another 30 for second batch. PDA sessions for 1st Batch begin on November 4, 2006 while 2nd Batch is on November 25, 2006.

To qualify to this PDA 2006 program, one should be aged between 5 and 25 and be ready to be consistently present in all sessions. You don’t have to be pretty, tall or rich to get counted for this rare opportunity. As long as you have the free will and desire to improve your personality, share the gift of gab and improve your artistic capabilities, you are totally IN for this avenue. This is where we bring your potentials out. During the registration dates, please bring with you your 3R close-up photo, birth certificate, workshop fee of P8, 500 and PDA form to be filled out on the day of signing up.

The Benefits of PDA Participant

Every participant of PDA enjoys the privilege of learning from the experts in personality and talent development hired by Art Dynamics Cebu.

The workshop fee (P8,500) paid by every participant is inclusive of the workshop manual, certificate and PDA ID; electronic copy of studio and resort photos; privilege to appear on TV and newspapers, fashion shows, mall visits and radio tours; linkage to showcase talent and skills for mall shows and corporate events; and Video tape recording (VTR) experience. PDA can also give you a break where you get scouted for future gigs in modeling and stage performances in singing and dancing.

A Note to Parents

Your role at PDA will be as an active participant, a responsible guardian. You will assist your child with moral and financial support, costume and props preparation, education, proper nutrition, enough sleep, coordination of events, transportation if needed, and emotional support. "Stage" parents may be accepted in the pageant industry, but they are not in the modeling or entertainment industries, nor at PDA. You must always let your child move and speak without impulsive coaching. It is more fitting that you allow your child to focus on the series of activities so best results are attained. As soon as the training begins, we do not allow any parent inside the session hall. In addition, PDA or this industry must be your child’s dream, and not a reflection of your own.

Official Waiver/Disclaimer:

Personality Development Avenue (PDA) 2006 is a training ground to prepare kids and youngsters for their series of stage, TV, radio and newspaper exposures. Upon signing up for PDA program, every participant is deemed accountable and responsible for embracing the rules and instructions set by the instructors and facilitators. Should there be any concern such as anticipated absence or no-show at any PDA activity, do not hesitate to approach the director. Although this is not encouraged, we can consider instances that can’t be stopped by certain circumstances or emergencies that are beyond our control. Just notify us ahead of time. Remember that the more consistent you are with attendance, the more exposures you get hold of and the quicker you develop yourself, your talent and manner of relating with others. Our prime objective is to motivate, train, develop and expose not only the model wannabes but also those with potentials in singing, dancing, acting and hosting. PDA 2006 is open to individuals ages 5 to 25 who desire to be more confident and develop better personality so that untapped potentials will be brought out to the fullest. The series of weekend challenges are meant to boost self-esteem and provide hands-on training where everyone takes initiative to be creative, resourceful and disciplined so that he or she can step up and see a better persona in him or her. It does not in any way guarantee that you will receive work or recognition in the entertainment and modeling industry in any way, but certainly provides every aspirant an exciting stint for studio pictorials, hotel and resort location shoots, product endorsement or newspaper features, TV appearances, mall fashion & variety shows, radio tours, It also does not mean that all things expressed in this undertaking are absolute facts, they are opinions that have been gathered through years of experience, and will generally maintain a standard basis in the modeling and entertainment industry. While the best of luck is certainly hoped for all PDA participants, we cannot guarantee that you will become a model, an actress/actor, a singer or dancer. We can recommend and endorse you to talent scouts, event organizers and model agents, of course. Having said all of these: Remember the only failure is never having grabbed this rare opportunity.
( ) Yes, I have read this waiver and therefore agree to observe what is stipulated in it.
